The event to be held on Warren Tobin’s property near Gin Gin will be used to inspect a mechanical thinning operation chipping residues into bio fuel for a sugar mill. It will also include an update on legislation and the state of the industry.
New timber products, fuel pellets and bio fuel from thinnings to maximize forest productivity will be discussed, as will fire management and other related topics.
