The consultation is being led by forestry experts Foresion which has been appointed by the South and Central Queensland Forestry Hub to undertake the assessment of new technologies and processes in timber and wood products industry to deliver a range of cost-competitive products.
The consultation process is being conducted in two stages; a survey followed by a stakeholder consultation workshop held in June.
The survey contains seven questions sets and takes 5-10 minutes to complete. The survey is accessible until the 17th of June 2022 and can be found at here .
This project supports the Commonwealth’s National Forest Industries Plan, Growing a Better Australia – A Billion Trees for Jobs and Growth. The information provided will support the development of policies and initiatives to grow the South and Central Queensland and Australian forestry industry.
