MOTO says they are perfect for the urban rider, like the commuter, fixed gear rider, or even the flat land BMXer.
The Moto Pedals are “dead simple, super comfy, and provide unrivalled grip under urban (non-muddy) conditions”.
The Classic and the Colour are both constructed of a waterproof, multi-layered wooden frame.
The Classic Pedal is MOTO’s original and premium pedal, which they feel is the best option for daily city commuting. It also includes their lightest, CNC machined and hollowed chomo-steel axle, an exclusive for the Classic Pedal.
Underneath the grip tape are two “ultra-thin, fiberglass-composite pedal platforms which are decorated with “beautiful, weather-sealed and lacquered wooden frames”.
These allow your foot to rock naturally with the pedal.
The Colour Pedal, which comes in red, black, or white is built around the hardened and machined, solid stainless steel axle that is encased in the “high impact strength reinforced composite platform, allowing it to rotate as needed”.
The colour-matched grip tape is applied to all 70.3 square centimetres of flat surface. The sturdy wooden frame is uniformly stained to match the other outer surfaces. It is “weather sealed in the same fashion as a premium wooden boat.”
These pedals don’t come cheap starting at $180 for a pair of the Colour style.
