Mr Harrington has been a FWCA director since 2022. He replaces Justin Law who was a foundation director and has guided FWCA through the past three years of establishment and growth.
In a planned restructure of the team, the executive officer role replaces the national membership manager and managing director positions.
The FWCA Board thanks Felicia Stevenson for her outstanding service as national membership manager, a role in which she helped to grow membership to more than 1300 financial members.
Mr Harrington is a Gippsland timber worker and has a deep connection with regional communities and the board has every confidence that he will succeed in continuing to grow FWCA membership and its importance as a voice for the families in timber towns.
