Nominations for the HOF awards are open to forestry contractors who have worked in the harvest and haulage sector for a minimum of 25 years and must have made a significant contribution to the growth and development of the industry.
A special category exists for Hall of Fame members to be elevated to an Industry Icon. Industry Icons are those members who have made an outstanding contribution above and beyond devoting a lifetime of service to the industry.
New categories this year celebrate women in industry and their contribution to the advocation and promotion to attract other women to the industry.
Nominations are welcome for those in the industry who are recognised for their commitment and innovation in safety as well as at an operations level.
A new category has been listed for the next generation to recognise the up and coming who embrace business, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The award categories are:
- Hall of Fame
- Service to Industry
- Industry Icon
- Next Generation Achiever
- Female Leader
- Excellence in Safety
- Excellence in Operations
The awards will be presented at a special dinner to be held at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre. Ticket Tickets are $150 each.
