The first of the AFCA’s Professional Ownership and Driver Wellbeing program days will be held in South Australia in September. The first session will be held at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills on 23 September. Location and times are still being worked on.
ForestrySA in conjunction with local contractors will be involved as part of this day the first PODW session.
This is a fantastic proactive opportunity for the industry in the Mt Lofty Ranges to hear from speakers who have a wealth of practical knowledge and understand the importance of road safety, and practicing a safety-first approach at work
Other dates have been set for Mount Gambier at the Emergency Services Complex (SES) on Jubliee Highway Mt Gambier at 1.30pm on 3 October, and 9am and 1.30pm on 4 October.
Portland will be the venue on 5 October at the Portland Business Hub, 33 Percy Street, Portland, at 9am.
These free sessions will be specifically targeting drivers, management and staff within the forest industry. The program will be limited to 30 sessions with a maximum of 40 attendees per session. Visit the AFCA website for bookings.
