According to the Association, Otago in New Zealand now has a reliable wood fuel supply and a range of heat plant applications so it is running an event for those interested in understanding modern smaller scale wood fuelled heat plants and investing in wood energy facilities in New Zealand and Australia.
Part of the event is a workshop that has opportunities to visit operational plants. This is a travelling workshop encompassing a number of site visits, which will include presentations and discussions.
The idea is to demonstrate modern heat plant facilities, visit a wood fuel supplier, view modern equipment and technology, listen to plant owners and as a forum to share ideas and information.
