This special one-day conference on 26 May from 8am-7pm at the Waiariki Institute of Technology, Rotorua, will bring together international speakers from Canada, the UK and Australia, as well as local experts, to discuss their personal experiences using engineered timber products.
Organisers say the function will help raise awareness of the breadth and depth of knowledge locally and internationally around engineered timber construction; and promote wood as a structural product that can be used in multi-storey, residential and commercial/industrial buildings not typically associated with timber in New Zealand.
