“CLT stairs were born based through market demand. We have seen an increasing interest and now we are able to meet this,” Florian De Monte, Product Manager CLT said.
These CLT stairs are ready-to-install stair flights designed using a CAD-based system.
The stairways are CNC-machined in the production process to provide a high level of precision and detail.
Stora Enso also provides prefabricated CLT landings that complement the stairs.
CLT stairs can be installed during construction as a single component, which removes the need for a temporary staircase and provides immediate access to the floor.
The CLT stairs are available for customers globally with CE marking, which is a first in the industry.
“We have provided our customers stairs in the past as a kit of parts and now they will benefit from a standardised and certified product.” Florian de Monte said.
