One of the top ten vote-getters, Morbark’s 6400XT Wood Hog Horizontal Grinder, is now vying to be the “Coolest Thing Made in Michigan.”
This People’s Choice Award is part of MMA’s annual recognition of the exceptional products made across the State of Michigan and celebration of the contribution’s manufacturers, like Morbark, make to Michigan’s economy and local communities.
Morbark’s equipment helps customers process and convert waste wood and other organic materials into sellable end products. The company produces a full line of brush chippers, stump cutters, mini skid steers, forestry mulchers, aerial trimmers, whole tree and biomass chippers, flails, horizontal and tub grinders, sawmill equipment, material handling systems, and mulcher head attachments for excavators, backhoes, and skid steers under the Morbark, Rayco, Denis Cimaf, and Boxer brands.
Sales and aftermarket support is conducted through a worldwide, authorized dealer network.
Morbark’s 6400XT Wood Hog Horizontal Grinder reduces woody and organic waste in recycling operations worldwide. The end product is often used as ground cover for landfills, mulch, or hog fuel in industrial boilers.
Equipped with an engine range of 1050 to 1200 HP and a weighing in at 96,500 lbs the 6400XT is the largest and most productive in Morbark’s horizontal grinder line and can produce up to 700 yards of material per hour.
“We are thrilled to be in the Top 10 Coolest Things Made in Michigan,” said Brad Boehler, President, and CEO of Morbark.
“After a challenging year, due to the pandemic, it is great to see the enthusiasm for our 6400XT horizontal grinder. Our people take pride every day in the equipment they make, and we would love to take this award home for them.”
The final round of voting finishes 20 November 2020.
