The Premier’s Sustainability Awards recognise and showcase the ingenuity, creativity and dedication shown every day by thousands of Victorians, in their efforts to protect and enhance the environment.
Mr Krpan said entering the Awards is straightforward and the benefits were terrific.
“Year on year, entrants tell us that the Awards are a great opportunity to get their sustainability story heard,” Mr Krpan said.
“Entering the Awards is a worthwhile and important exercise to reflect on your achievements, and with a few weeks to go, it’s not too late to start an entry.”
Entrants have the opportunity to showcase their sustainability initiatives, be seen as a sustainability leader, enhance their reputation, receive public recognition and have these achievements shared with the wider community.
Categories represent Victoria’s sustainable diversity and include Built Environment, Community, Education, Environmental Justice, Environmental Protection, Government, Health, Innovative Products or Services, Small and Medium Enterprises and Large Business.
Finalists will be announced in late August. All finalists are then invited to attend the awards event on Thursday 20 October.
Entries for the Premier’s Sustainability Awards close at 5pm on Monday 27 June. To enter and for more information go to www.sustainabilityawards.vic.gov.au
