Danks reveals its top retailers

The Trade Store of the Year awards include all Danks, HBG and Plumblinx trade members nationally. One winner was chosen in each state in recognition of business growth and contribution to the trade sector, and their continuous support and contribution to the Danks group.
State winners included Tait Home Timber & Hardware (Vic), Ibbotts Home Timber and Hardware (Tas), Mittagong Home Timber & Hardware (NSW/ACT), Bowen Home Hardware (Qld), B&S Hardware (SA/NT) and Hedland Home Hardware & Garden (WA).
The overall honour of the group’s National Trade Retailer of the Year went to Bowen Home Hardware (Qld) for its outstanding trade offering and expertise which is filtered through all facets of its business.
Danks national franchise operations manager, Peter Richards, said the trade market is incredibly competitive but an important part of the Danks business.
“It is inspiring to work with stores who are fully committed to Danks and our growth strategies. Our outstanding trade store network is the reason Danks remains such a strong force in innovation and expertise to the trade industry,” Richards said.
Also acknowledged on the night was the significant contribution of Danks’ suppliers in achieving excellence in trade products and manufacturing through its Trade Supplier of the Year awards. The winners were Carter Holt Harvey (timber), Gunnersen (building materials), Iplex Plumbing (plumbing) and Assa Abloy Australia (trade maintenance)
