The Board of the Forest Practices Authority (FPA) invites nominations for the Forest Practices Awards, these recognise excellence and continuous improvement in forest practices. The winners will be presented with Forest Practices Certificates of Excellence at an awards ceremony in 2019. The Board has introduced a new award this year to recognise early-career FPOs. If you can think of someone, such as a contractor, FPO, specialist, landowner or community body who deserves special recognition for the excellence of their contribution to the forest practices system since the last awards in 2015, nominate them for the Forest Practices Awards 2019.
The nomination process is not very complex or time consuming and deadline for submitting nominations is 15 April 2019.
Nominations can be submitted in any of the categories listed in the table on the FPA’s website – www.fpa.gov.au which also lists previous award winners.
