This is great resource with an ever-increasing number of people looking for online alternatives from traditional classroom teaching during COVID-19.
The Apps will allow learn at home students, teachers and parents to be fully immersed in world first forest and wood processing 360 environments during these times of social distancing.
Filmed at 28 different locations across Australia, virtual reality has overcome problems around the inaccessibility of visiting physical forests and wood processing facilities – particularly useful and relevant during the current COVID-19 lockdowns.
ForestVRTM experiences are available to view via PC or Mac.
The ForestVRTM virtual reality APPs will support teaching resources soon to be launched for Geography and Design and Technologies subject areas in collaboration with the Geography Teachers Association Victoria and the Design and Technology Teachers Association Victoria.
Forest Learning provides Australian teachers with Australian curriculum aligned teaching and learning resources from K-12 surrounding sustainable forests and wood products via the one-stop-shop for teacher’s portal.
