The “Mass Timber in Multi-Storey and Commercial Building’s” Seminar will bring together designers, engineers and structural timber experts for an afternoon of interaction on Thursday 18 June at the Aerial UTS Function Centre in Ultimo.
WoodSolutions says that the free CPD seminar will include the results of a multi-disciplinary cost comparison of a Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and glulam apartment building with Till Soerensen from Fitzpatrick + Partners on hand to discuss a range of Australian mass timber and timber hybrid developments underway.
Other topics for discussion will include design, building code compliance, preliminaries, connections, timber concrete composite floor construction and negation of condensation issues.
