This is an exciting time for the FSC ANZ Board as the organisation finalises the direction and roadmap for the next five years.
The role of the new board will be vital as the organisation expands its certified forests, deepens the commitment to FSC certification within the supply chain, and activates retail supporters to build consumer awareness of the importance of the brand.
This year, due to a number of casual vacancies in 2019, there are five open director positions.
Directors are elected for three-year terms at FSC Australia’s Annual General Meeting. Hence, three director positions, one from each chamber, face re-election at the AGM. Nominations for director vacancies also face an election at the AGM.
Directors of FSC Australia attend bimonthly board meetings and are committed to release board meeting minutes to the public as soon as possible following the meetings.
