Under FWPA’s Constitution, the Board must consist of at least two directors who are not an employee or director of one of FWPA’s voting member companies (non-member Directors).
Craig Taylor is currently a non-member director and he has completed his first 3-year term and has the opportunity to re-apply for nomination.
An independent Director Selection Committee established under the company’s constitution will consider proposals for candidates to be voted in by the members.
The Committee consists of representatives from four national associations (AFPA, AFG, ATIF and EWPAA), one nominee from the FWPA Board and a non-voting chair drawn from the FWPA Board.
The committee is required to ensure that candidates will result in a balanced, skills-based board and the FWPA board has recommended to the committee to consider candidates with experience in supply chain optimisation, construction markets and building innovation.
