A 25-metre mobile mast set up in Scotland has been attracting attention for all the wrong reasons. It was meant to blend into the scenery and look like the surrounding trees but instead locals are calling it the toilet brush. One resident called it “God’s lavvy brush”. A planning application by Mobile Broadband Network Limited was approved in June 2021 with mock ups of what the mast should look like but unfortunately the final product was different with the final one twice as high as the surrounding trees and with a lot of spacing between its too perfectly formed branches.
More than 20 objections were made on the planning application.
