More than 100 entrants have registered for the Warren Centre’s National Energy Essay Competition. Entrants are invited to present innovative solutions to Australia’s energy needs, which are forecast to grow by up to 50% over the next 20 years.
The competition is open to individuals or teams of up to three members, all of whom must be under 31 at 30 June, 2008, and Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Young Australians have until 22 August to enter and be in the running for cash prizes of up to $20,000 (the Sumitomo Australia Prize and the Babcock & Brown Power/Wind Partners Prize), as well as a $5,000 Under 21 prize. Entries close on 22nd August 2008.
