Corporate Social Responsibility Director, for MAX LEVI Stephanie Sammut, emphasised the importance of sustainable forest management for her company.
“MAX LEVI acknowledges the crucial significance of sustainable forest management and actively supports the Forest Stewardship Council in their mission to safeguard the world’s forests,” she said.
“FSC is globally recognised as the most reputable certification system for sustainable forestry, setting the standard for environmentally responsible, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management practices.
“By obtaining an FSC promotional licence and supporting FSC, MAX LEVI takes a positive step towards responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship. It is essential for companies to prioritise sustainability and strive to protect our forests for the well-being of future generations.”
MAX LEVI’s suppliers source their wood from various FSC-certified forests around the world, primarily in central Europe and North America. As part of its commitment to sustainability, MAX LEVI has set a goal to source all its products from FSC-certified raw materials by the end of 2024.
