The show is organized by Media Wood., Ltd., which has published a weekly Korea Wood Newspaper since 1998.
Korea Wood Show 2016 is planned with about 250 exhibitors at about 10,000 m2 of floor area. This year’s show is expected to be visited by more than 50,000 qualified visitors including many foreign visitors from countries such as Japan, China, USA, Canada, Taiwan, EU, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia etc.
Korea Wood Show 2016 is to feature a variety of wood products including logs, softwood and hardwood lumber, engineered wood products including plywood, OSB and glulam, treated lumber, decking and interior materials, exterior materials, MDF and particleboard, flooring, wood chips and pellets industrial packaging lumber, as well as wood equipment and machineries such as cutting machines, laser machines, tools, furniture and paints etc..
As a resource limited country, South Korea heavily relies on imports of wood products accounting for over 80 % of its needs.
Given this limited local supply situation, participation in 2016 Korea Wood Show will certainly provide an excellent opportunity for networking with potential buyers.
