After listening to its customers, Deere made significant yet subtle improvements without compromising power or productivity.
The simpler L-Series II models reduce maintenance and increase uptime with over 1600 parts changes, including more robust electrical harnesses, fittings, hoses, and cylinder guards than previous models.
Changes under the bonnet include improved component placement and dramatically reduced complexity of electrical and hydraulic systems.
L-Series II Wheeled Feller Buncher now has a redesigned exhaust chute that improves cutting efficiency.
L-Series II Skidder now has a reinforced arch for greater durability, an increased grapple-squeeze force to provide constant pressure, so operators are less likely to drop logs.
Both have steering stops to cushion impact at full articulation to reduce machine stress and
deliver a more comfortable ride, simplified electrical routing to boost reliability and durability and improved hydraulic routings and fittings to extend component life and for ease service.
