Limber up your controller for Jack Lumber

So you don’t get enough of felling trees and chopping wood at work, take your work home with Jack Lumber, a new Sega game where players chop flying logs. While the end result – chopped wood – is the same, the tools will really put you to the test. Source: USA Today

Jack Lumber is a lumberjack on a mission, and works his way through locations such as Flapjack Forest and the Loggers Bog.

Levels feature logs that pop onto the screen, but players must do more than just quickly chop away. By using their finger on a touchscreen, they must also draw a continuous line to chop every piece of wood with one fluid motion.

Some logs require several swipes before being fully chopped, while others can only be cut in one direction. Players must pull this off before time expires to achieve the maximum points available. They can also earn bonuses for chopping in straight lines.

Players use chopped wood to purchase items such as special beards to make the game even tougher, as well as maple syrup power-ups for an extra boost.
