Midway sources plantation timber that originates from tree plantations in Victoria and South Australia and it is commencing stakeholder consultations regarding the management of high conservation values (HCV) associated with its plantations wood supply and procurement activities.
The company invites stakeholders involved with or have an interest in the forest area to offer comment or feedback by the 29/11/2020 in relation to:
- identifying High Conservation Values (HCVs) and threats to them, including biodiversity, forest productive capacity, forest ecosystem health, soil and water, cultural values;
- controlled wood verification processes;
- precautionary measures applied to protect HCVs; and
- the Forest Management Plan.
