“With the recent changes to the National Construction Code allowing timber to be used in more applications, we’re keen to showcase the potential,” said Multinail Marketing Manager Travis Taylor.
“Our new two-story timber head office is being built using the latest methods and features timber cassettes that have been engineered and manufactured for commercial loads.
“We’ll be installing the floor cassettes, which each weigh up to 2 tonnes and measure 9m x 6m.
“These have been manufactured using Multinail’s SteelWood joist system, which is ideally suited for heavier loads of 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 7.5kPa.”
The event is on 10 February 2017, 8am to 12pm at the Multinail head office, 155 Burnside Road, Stapylton.
