Ms Thomas has been appointed Health Minister and Ambulance Services Minister.
Lily D’Ambrosio remains the Minister for Energy, Minister for Environment and Climate Action and Minister for Solar Homes.
“We commend Minister Thomas’ support for forestry during her time as Minister for Agriculture and her effort to support forestry workers’ rights. The Victorian forestry congratulates her on her new appointment,” VFPA CEO Deb Kerr said.
“Victoria is a world leader in sustainable forest management and timber and fibre production, creating essential products that we all need, from new homes to furniture, paper, and sustainable packaging. As a strong and united industry, we look forward to an equally constructive relationship with Minister Thomas’ successor,” Ms Kerr said.
