The program, which was developed to assist farmers with upfront establishment costs of commercial shelterbelts, woodlots and other associated farm forestry plantings while improving farm productivity, has received a large number of inquiries.
It is hoped that the extension to the application closing date will allow landholders more time to prepare applications and liaise with their consultants in the process.
