A symposium titled “Precision Forestry in Advance” is scheduled on 27 and 28 March 2012 immediately preceding the AUSTimber 2012 Conference in Mount Gambier, SA. This symposium is one of a sequence held every couple of years in different locations around the world, which attract an international audience of precision forestry practitioners, academics and providers.
The Precision Forestry in Advance theme focuses on looking forward into new precision forestry developments with a link to some operational methods. Topics will cover software tools and decision support systems, monitoring systems, data analysis and planning systems. This will complement the AUSTimber 2012 Conference and Expo and attendees will no doubt take advantage of the timing of the two events.
Registrations for this symposium are available through the AUSTimber 2012 booking system by www.austimber2012.com.au/register.html
