Out of the total harvested Finnish roundwood volume, sawlogs accounted for 2.9 million m³ and pulpwood for 3.1 million m³ of the industrial roundwood logging volumes.
Industrial roundwood logging volumes from forests in non-industrial private ownership were 4.9 million m³.
Finnish forest industry companies and the state harvested 1.2 million m³ of roundwood from their forests, which is 15% more than in October 2016.
As of 2017, harvested energy wood volumes are included in the monthly statistics. In October, 296,000 m3 of wood was harvested for energy production.
