The Awards are a great opportunity to:
- promote your business and its achievements
- leverage the recognition and reward opportunities associated with the program
- make useful business connections through interactions with other businesses and awards sponsors.
This year the event will be held in Launceston and comprise of a networking activity for finalists and sponsors, the awards ceremony and an evening cocktail function to be attended by business and industry leaders.
Category winners at the state level progress to the national awards, where there are further opportunities for engagement with other leading exporters, export facilitators, key government officials, media and additional sponsors who support Australian exporters.
In addition to the 13 national categories, there are two Tasmania-only categories:
- Women in Export
- Young Exporter Award, which was introduced this year to recognise the contribution of younger people (up to 30 years of age) working in an export-related role and inspire more young people to build a career in this area.
Staff can be nominated for either or both of these awards via the completion of just one extra question over and above a national category application.
Visit the application portal at 2019 Tasmanian Export Awards for eligibility criteria, FAQs, tips for building an application, to obtain the application questions and access online application form.
The deadline for applications is 9 August 2019.
