This workshop is intended for the structural engineers, builders and architects looking for an opportunity to learn about connector options for light timber frame and mass timber buildings.
The first part of the workshop will cover connections employed in low to mid rise light frame buildings.
The second part will progress beyond light timber frame buildings exploring high performance self-tapping screws and European-style connections used for mass timber buildings.
Industry leaders will teach the latest calculation methods and how to design a timber connection and then provide you with practical demonstrations on how to apply strong and reliable connections.
