Speaker highlights include Andrew Waugh, a globally renowned architect who designed the world’s first 10 storey mass wood apartment building in London, as is a pioneer in tall timber buildings. His presentation Innovation in mass wood building design and global sustainability objectives will embrace projects currently underway and outlook for the future.
Another global icon will be Gerry McCaughey, Chief Executive and Chairman of Entekra USA, a design engineering and manufacturing company that provides a fully integrated off-site timber frame solution for both residential and commercial construction in North America.
His presentation titled Panelised timber frame construction to increase productivity and profitability for builders will focus on hi-tech manufacturing and prefabrication leading to panelisation and benefits to both builders and frame and truss plants in providing new business opportunities.
