The revised proposal is open for community feedback until 12 December 2019.
The TRP identifies areas (coupes) that may be harvested for timber over coming years.
VicForests CEO Monique Dawson said community consultation is critical to harvest planning.
“VicForests’ welcomes feedback from the community on our proposed harvest and haulage operations as well as constructive views on ways we can continue to support biodiversity in our operational areas,” she said.
To learn more about the TRP in relation to West Gippsland, East Gippsland and more widely across Eastern Victoria, you can join VicForests at the information session, which is being held at the Quality Inn, 5601 Princes Hwy, Traralgon on 11 December from 4pm to 7pm.
