The breakfast to be held on 24 February starting at 8am at the Café Bella Rosa in Carlisle will have two guest speakers.
Ms Melissa Turner, Senior Coordinator Forest Management Systems for the Forest Products Commission will speak about her career in the forestry industry and the importance of forest management certification.
Ms Kay Gerard, CEO of Food Fibre & Timber Industries Training Council will speak about her role as CEO and facilitate discussion around occupational and skill shortages in the forestry industry.
The Women in Forests and Timber Network is a national forum for women and is hosted by ForestWorks on behalf of the whole industry. Men with an interest in women’s challenges and achievements within our industry are also welcome to attend.
