Your tour leader is Andrew Dunn, timber engineer and CEO of the Timber Development Association who has led five of these very popular overseas tours showcasing timber.
Travel 6 days from Salzburg, Austria to Biel, Switzerland by luxury coach. Cities and places to be visited include: Salzburg, Innsbruck, St Gallen, Zurich, Bern and Biel as well as the southern parts of Austria and Switzerland.
The event runs from Sunday 23 September to Saturday 29 September 2018 and is limited to 20 people (spaces will be allocated in order of receipt of full payment).
The tour costs $5490 per person on a single room basis (twin share price on application) inclusive of GST. This cost is for land content only and flights and travel to and from Salzburg and Biel are an additional expense.
The small tour group will visit high profile projects and meet the building professionals behind them – people you could not usually gain access to.
You will see buildings that are under construction as well as completed projects, visit CLT, glulam manufacturing, free form and modular fabrication plants.
In addition you’ll also have the opportunity to meet with inspirational architects, engineers, academics, fabricators and contractors who will share their experiences.
