After a 20 year wait Melbourne will see a woodworking expo totally focused on the needs of the kitchen and cabinetmaking industry. Sponsored by Supplier Woodworking magazine, the Australian Woodworking and Technology Expo is being held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (or, as it’s more commonly known, Jeff’s Shed) from 23 to 25 July.
This major industry event has been a long time in the planning and organising by Craig Jenkins (Arrow Wood Products) and Bob Kory (Kory Dubay) – both directors of their own companies, and proud members of the Australian Thermo Laminating Association, which is the sponsor.
Australia’s premier woodworking industry suppliers will come together under the one roof to present the latest in woodworking technology and new product lines, covering the whole spectrum available to the kitchen manufacturer, cabinetmaker and designer.
Key product categories to be on show include:
• Woodworking machinery
• Tooling
• Cutting Equipment
• Hardware fittings and components
• Storage solutions
• Surface materials and finishes
• Plant Equipment
• Software
• Cabinet doors;
plus much more!
An added benefit in visiting the Melbourne-based show is the inaugural Australia and New Zealand Thermo Laminating Conference specifically catering for manufacturers of vinyl vacuumed formed doors and panel products.
The conference will feature a number of international guest speakers, who are recognised specialists in the thermo laminating industry.
