Information on a number of issues will be presented including the findings of a recent report as well as the experience of other businesses. This is an opportunity to discuss relevant steps to improve the workforce situation and to influence the ways that it can be addressed, how to deal with skills shortfalls, recruitment challenges and training.
This workshop will be based upon the findings of the Smart Development of Future Workforce Report for North East NSW prepared by ForestWorks.
The event will be held from 10.30am to 4.00pm at the Slim Dusty Centre at 490 Macleay Valley Way in South Kempsey with morning tea and lunch provided.
The event is supported by Timber NSW, AFCA, TABMA, TAFE NSW and Timber Training Creswick.
